'Twas The Night Before Christmas

1st Grade did a WONDERFUL job on their holiday program, 'Twas the Night Before Christmas!! They worked hard on learning lines from the famous poem, singing new holiday songs, and adding choreography to make it a performance fun for kids ages 1-101! Just look how cute and festive they are:

Welcome back :)

Hope everyone had an awesome summer of recharging and fun-filled family time! I know I did & I'm ready for the 2014-2015 school year. We have some very exciting things planned for music-upcoming programs for each grade, a few music field trips in the works, new Composer of the Months, more Recorder Karate, & so much more! Five Stars for FLAKES!

1st Grade's production of FLAKES! was a wonderful reminder that each and every person is special and unique (just like a snowflake!)  in their very own way. The students did a great job singing, dancing, playing instruments, and celebrating the winter season on Thursday. Here are some photos of them having a fantastic time, it's easy to tell from their faces!! Hope you enjoyed the little concert, remember you're as special as a snowflake-or a Snirt!
