My husband & I |
Hello :) I am Kelsey Aadalen, and this is my 3rd year as Marshall Elementary School's music teacher! In case you're wondering, my last name is pronounced Uh-doll-in, but you are welcome to call me Mrs. Dolly or Mrs. Aladdin like some of your kids do.
I was born and raised outside a
small northeast Kansas town, Horton, on my parent’s farm. I am the baby of the
family, with an older sister and two brothers. Like any small town student
growing up, I was involved in anything and everything the school/community
offered (4-H, cross-country, musicals, track, countless organizations, etc.).
I graduated from Horton High School in 2008 and I pursued my love of singing at Washburn University in Topeka. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in music education in May of 2013. I met my husband at college through the music department since he also has a music teaching degree. We just announced to the world that we are expecting our first child come March!!
I am super happy to spend my third year of teaching at such a friendly school!
